Cyprus (the 3rd largest island in the Mediterranean) is a famous “bridge” that holds a critical geographical position between three continents.

There is multilingualism on the island and although the official languages are Greek and Turkish, English is also widely used as a communication language in everyday conversations with people from overseas.

Cyprus generally enjoys a mild climate, with long periods of sunshine and clear sky. Its climate is considered one of the healthiest in the world.

Also, the island is well known for its beautiful beaches with sandy beaches and crystal waters and the shallow turquoise water.

Nicosia

KES College is located in Nicosia, the capital city of Cyprus, which lies roughly at the geographical centre of the island. It blends historic past brilliantly with the bustle of a modern city, but sadly in the aftermath of the 1974 Turkish invasion it is now the only divided capital city in the world.

One of your first views in Nicosia it is the impressive Venetian Walls that surrounds the old city.

On your free time you can visit the Laiki Geitonia (Old quarter) where there are traditional taverns and charming little shops.

It is 30 minutes away from the closest beach and 40 minutes from the Mountains.
