The ever-increasing interest in wellness, health and good looks worldwide has created conditions of increasing demand in the aesthetic profession. The 3 year "Beauty Therapy" programme ends in a Higher Diploma and offers all the necessary guarantees for a successful and lucrative career with multiple employment opportunities. It covers a wide range of additional knowledge and skills related to specializations such as Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Anxiety Management and other topics of modern Beauty Therapy. It is the first three-year Programme of Beauty Therapy Studies approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture and operates in Cyprus offering a Higher Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

Anatomy
The aim of the course is to gain an in-depth understanding of human body construction and familiarity with the structure of cells, tissues and organs and the anatomical relationship between them that will enable the students to understand the effects of aesthetic applications mainly on the supportive and muscular systems.
Physiology
The aim of the course Physiology is an in-depth understanding of the physiological processes of the human body and familiarity with the physiological functions of human cells, organs and main systems, which will enable the student to draw and sketch to understand the effects of aesthetic applications on humans in relation to their respective physiology.
Dermatology I
The purpose of the Dermatology I course is to make students aware of the complex structure of the skin and the functions that its components perform.
Principles of Physics
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of physics in the fields of heat, electricity and electromagnetism. This knowledge will help students to understand how electricity and radiation affect the human body, to select and operate their various electrical appliances safely, and to be able to monitor and understand future developments in the industry.
Face Morphology and Colour
The aim of the course Face Morphology - Colour is to help students understand the facial morphology and to improve physical beauty or facial defects through colour techniques and harmony.
Principles of Chemistry
The main objective of the course is for students to acquire basic knowledge of inorganic and organic chemistry in relation to the field of aesthetics. The course introduces students to the principles of chemistry and provides them with the knowledge they need to understand the chemistry of cosmetics.
Facial Aesthetics I
The aim of the Facial Aesthetics I is help students to construct the fundamental knowledge and laboratory practices necessary to acquire the information and skills needed for facial care.
Body Aesthetics I
The purpose of the Body Aesthetics course is for students to become familiar with the techniques and therapeutic effects of massage in improving our physical and mental health and to put them into practice.
Dermatology II
The aim of the Dermatology II course is to make students aware of the skin lesions so as to be able to distinguish which ones should not be intervened, which ones are contagious and what precautions they should be taken.
Depilatory Methods I
The aim of the course Depilatory Methods I is to help students understand the structure and function of the hair follicle and to be aware of the proper procedure of applying hair removal treatment to treat unwanted hair.
First Aid
The aim of the First Aid course is to provide students with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge of first aid. Proper consolidation of this knowledge will enable them to apply the acquired knowledge, to think and act correctly in the event of an emergency or injury in the future.
Cosmetology
The objective of the course Cosmetology is to adequately construct students’ knowledge in relation to the types, manufacture, maintenance, circulation, use and properties of cosmetic preparations. In addition, the course aims to develop basic skills that include basic laboratory parameters related to cosmetic preparations.
Basic Concepts and Applications of Computers:
The course aims to help students understand the basic concepts of Information Technology (IT) and gain knowledge and skills in using the basic functions of a Computer. Also the students need to gain the ability to use a word processing application, presentations, spreadsheet and understand the terms of using the Internet, and the concepts of E-mail.
Facial Aesthetics III
The purpose of the Facial Aesthetics III is for students to be able to use electricity safely and to always take the necessary precautions when applying electric therapies to address various skin problems.
Body Aesthetics II
The purpose of the Body Aesthetic II course is to enable students to identify the problem in the body, to make a proper diagnosis and to properly and safely apply the appropriate electrical treatment for the body (or the skin).
Manicure and Pedicure
The aim of the course is to provide students with the appropriate skills, knowledge and practice, with the ultimate goal of embedding the knowledge in order to provide proper nail care and prosthetic services in the future, and to meet client's need and desire.
Kinesiology
The aim of the course in Kinesiology is to familiarize the students with the Musculoskeletal System and the Human Movement.
Make up
The aim of the Makeup course is for students to get acquainted with the history of makeup, cosmetics, make-up techniques and to create make-up according to the time, costume and occasion.
Fundamentals of Management
The course aims to introduce students to the various concepts of management including management audits, key decision-making principles and planning, human resources management and concepts related to human resources management.
Organization of Beauty Units
The aim of the course is for students to understand how to organize and operate aesthetics and wellness units.
Body Aesthetics III
The purpose of the Body Aesthetics III course is for students to learn how to properly and safely apply electrical treatments taking into account all safety measures.
Dermatology III
The aim of the Dermatology III course is to make students aware of the various skin tumors, the dangers of moles and melanomas and to possess basic knowledge so that they can understand when and how the beautician is able to contribute positively to their treatment.
Nosology
The aim of the Nosology course is to make students aware of the major pathological and anatomical alterations and diseases of the tissues and organs of the body so that they can adapt the applications of Aesthetics elements where appropriate.
Hair Removal Methods II
The aim of the course Hair Removal Methods II is to adequately build on the fundamental knowledge and laboratory practices necessary to acquire the information and skills needed to apply permanent unnecessary hair removal methods using electricity.
Hygiene
The aim of the Hygiene course is to understand the various infectious diseases which will enable the students to recognize the clinical symptoms and other characteristic findings of the main infectious diseases in order to receive appropriate precautions.
Stress and their Management Techniques
The aim of the course Stress and its Management Techniques is for students to understand the meaning of stress and its effects on the human body and to be able to apply stress management techniques.
Basic Principles of Marketing
The aim of the course is the theoretical understanding and practical application of the various modern client-centered marketing principles in the competitive field of business.
Αromatherapy
The aim of the Aromatherapy course is to enable students to gain a theoretical background on the beneficial constituents of essential oils and to apply their therapeutic uses in practice to improve the health of the body and to have peace of mind.
Professional-Theatrical Make-up
The aim of the course is to help students to become skilled makeup artists by using specific application techniques, appropriate products, in order to shape a person or body depending on the character and the role they must create.
Reflexology
The aim of the Reflexology course is for students to understand and be able to explain the concept of reflexology, and to be able to apply the healing process to the clients.
Cosmetic Endocrinology
The aim of the course Aesthetic Endocrinology is to acquire the basic knowledge of the key organs, tissues and cells that regulate the functions of the body through the production of hormones.
English Terminology
The aim of the English Terminology course is to enable students to understand basic elements of Aesthetics and Makeup in English and to become familiar with its basic terminology.
Methodology of Project Writing
The aim of the course is to make students aware of the need to write a thesis as a means of communicating scientific projects and to understand how a thesis project is carried out either in the form of study / literature review or research design and writing up.
Nutrition-Dietetics
The goal of the course Nutrition - Dietetics is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to meet their nutritional needs and to improve the quality of their daily lives by adopting proper eating habits.
Aesthetic Gymnastics
The purpose of the Aesthetic Gymnastics course is to enable students to understand the basic principles of aesthetics and its importance and to be able to use and design exercise programs that are applicable to aesthetics as a means of implementing the practice of aesthetics.
Cosmetic Surgery
The aim of the course Cosmetic Surgery is to make the students aware of the different therapeutic methods and surgeries so that they become familiar with the ways the cosmetologist can help before and after the surgery.
Basic Principles of Laser/IPL
The aim of the course is to help students acquire the basic knowledge about Laser and IPL, the indications and contraindications of their use and to realize the value of this tool and its application for permanent removal purposes.
Professional Ethics
The purpose of the Professional Ethics course is to enable students to understand the Principles and Concepts of Scientific and Professional Ethics to the extent that they are able, by applying ethical rules mechanisms, to regulate them and their actions while practicing their profession.
Project Writing
The purpose of the course is the proper utilization of knowledge and skills related to the process of conducting scientific work in order for students to write a scientific work that is directly related to Aesthetics issues.
Practical Training
The purpose of the Practical Training is the practical application of the knowledge gained throughout the studies in the field of Aesthetics.
