The new “Business Management” Bachelor Degree Programme, offers the platform for developing the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the modern business environment.
It is a uniquely designed programme, based on the essential skills, as demonstrated by the World Economic Forum’s 16 future-focused skill set, and adopted by the world’s most successful and prestigious companies.
Students “develop” and “master” the Top 6 skills of the professional elite in Business Administration: Strategy, Leadership, Data Analysis, Influence, Adaptation to Change and Problem Solving skills.
Graduates of the programme are able to fill managerial positions in multiple fields of Business Management such as Marketing and Sales, Finance as well as Human Resource management. Graduates have the opportunity to also further their Education in post-graduate disciplines in the field of Business.
The programme is based on theory and practice and emphasizes the concepts and techniques needed to fully understand the various aspects of business.

- Fundamental knowledge of business disciplines: Students are expected to demonstrate a solid understanding of the core business principles when it comes to the primary areas of accounting/finance, marketing, and management, and understand the interconnectedness of those areas as it relates to business operation. Students’ assessments will involve their engagement with strategic plans and tests that require the exhibition of strategic thinking, visioning and the development of strategies intended for organisational improvement and growth within a global environment.
- Quantitative Analysis and Reasoning: Students are expected to demonstrate their ability to apply quantitative analytical processes to solve problems and exhibit number processing skills as a way to support decision making in the context of management, financial accounting, statistics, microeconomics and macroeconomics, when they conduct estimations or when forecasting , and at the same time utilising those numbers when performing cost-benefit analysis within the context of the national and international business environment.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Students are expected to demonstrate critical thinking as it relates to defining business problems based on the available evidence, discern fact from opinion, determine underlying causes, and formulate and evaluate potential solutions. Students will identify and implement best practices when it comes to business planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict management within an ethical framework.
- Communication: Students are expected to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and oral speech having always in mind the intended audience and whilst using strategies and methods that correspond to undergraduate level. Students shall demonstrate effective communication skills that are defined by clear, organised and concise speech and demonstrate a deep level of analysis and synthesis that is based on evidence.
- Leadership and Team Collaboration: Students are expected to demonstrate leadership skills as they relate to taking initiative,
communicating objectives, building agreement, being receptive to change, and motivating team members to achieve maximum performance. Students are expected to collaborate with groups effectively and contribute to group projects, demonstrate responsiveness and availability as a team member, communicate clearly and effectively, exercise leadership where appropriate, and behave in a way that is deemed appropriate at a business / professional level. - Ethics: Students shall recognise ethical and moral issues, identify any call for actions and demonstrate the moral responsibility to take action. Students should exhibit integrity in their work and actions, honour confidentiality, comprehend the moral rules and follow generally accepted codes of conduct in the business word.

Dr. Miliotou has contributed to the co-assistance of teaching the Laboratories of Pharmacology I & II, for undergraduate students, between the years 2014-2020. She has worked for the private sector, in Vocational Training Institutions (ΙΕΚ), and has taught a variety of courses related to many specialties of the healthcare professions. Dr. Miliotou has received scholarships for her doctoral studies and is an active researcher in the field of Pharmacology and Biotechnology. Dr. Miliotou has also written chapters in three scientific books and has participated in scientific conferences at Greece, Germany, and U.S.A, with oral presentations and scientific posters, and has also participated in a number of research projects. She has published several scientific papers (from 2018 – today), with over 455 citations (h-index 6). Her research interests revolve around the production and intracellular delivery of therapeutic mRNAs. In 2020, the results of her research activity were patented at a national level and the international patent-pending has been published in 2021. In addition, in 2022, her research work received the Award of Excellence of the Dean of the School of Health Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for “Remarkable clinical-laboratory work and application of innovative methods and techniques for the first time in Greece”. Dr. Miliotou teaches courses of her specialty.

He has worked as an Assistant Professor – Academic Visitor and Specialist in Research and Teaching at the Department of Biological Studies of the University of Cyprus, a Coordinator of Postgraduate Module “Conservation and Management of Natural Resources” at the Open University of Cyprus, a Research Fellow at the Department of Life Science of the European University of Cyprus and a Programme Coordinator of “Technician for Production of Organic Products” of KES College. Short CV: Mr Vassilis Charalambous has been a Lecturer at KES College since 2021. He holds a Master’s Degree (2015) in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Portsmouth (UK), and a Law Degree from the University of Leicester (UK, 2013). Mr. Charalambous works as a Lawyer, advising public and private sector clients on emerging technologies and personal data, including Blockchain, crypto-assets, and distributed ledger technology. He is also the head of the Technology Department (GZGTech). He is the vice-president of Technology Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association and a speaker at technology conferences. At KES College, he teaches subjects of his expertise.
