Mobility of KES College Aesthetics Trainer for Training Under the Erasmus+ Program

As part of the European Erasmus+ Program for higher education staff mobility, Ms. I. Farkonidou, a trainer for the Accredited and Certified Aesthetics Programs at KES College, had the opportunity to attend a seminar on “Basic Training in Podiatry” at Beauty Me Academy in Thessaloniki, from January 26 to January 29, 2024.
Through this opportunity, the trainer gained valuable knowledge and experience in specialized foot care, starting with fundamental topics such as sterilization and disinfection, nail and skin anatomy, hyperkeratosis, calluses and corns, fissures, skin hardening, nail dystrophy, and their common conditions. Additionally, she was trained on basic equipment and tools for foot care, including drills and the use of scalpels.
The goal of the trainer’s participation in this seminar was to acquire specialized knowledge in professional foot care and to stay updated on the latest developments in the field, enabling her to pass on new knowledge and techniques to the students of the Aesthetics Program at KES College.
Furthermore, the trainer aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students to better prepare them for providing high-quality services in the job market.
The continuous training and specialization of KES College trainers undoubtedly elevate the theoretical and practical training offered to students in the Aesthetics Programs at KES College, ensuring high-level service provision in the field of aesthetics.
